We launched our in house brands starting with Wak Shw in 2018, followed by SPTK Shoes in 2020, Flora Supermarket in 2022, Yayi Shoes in 2023, Spotek in 2024 and Naira Fragrance in 2025. In 2025 we consolidated all of our brands and businesses under one organization as Spotek Group. Today Spotek Group stands as a trusted name in footwear, fashion and retail, committed to delivering value, consistent quality and customer satisfaction.
Established in 2001 we have accumulated 24 years of experience in Dubai and a Overall Total 29 years of experience in industry since beginnings since 1996. Our Journey
The Birth of Spotek and the Formation of Spotek Group
April 2025 marked the launch of Spotek, a new-age sports and lifestyle footwear brand representing innovation, comfort, and performance. Building on the success of their earlier ventures, the family consolidated all their businesses under one unified identity in September 2025, officially forming Spotek Group. This new chapter symbolizes the union of decades of family entrepreneurship with a modern vision to lead in footwear, fashion, and lifestyle markets across India and the UAE.
The Era of Brands and Growth
With decades of experience behind them, the family began developing their own brands, starting with Wak Shw in 2018 and SPTK Shoes in 2020. The diversification continued with Flora Supermarket in 2022 and Yayi Shoes in 2023, strengthening their presence in both retail and lifestyle categories.
Expansion into the UAE
In 2012, the family took a major step forward by entering the UAE market and establishing Homing General Trading in Deira, Dubai. The following years saw the creation of Peculiar Trading LLC and Al Towar Star Trading LLC, marking the beginning of their international wholesale and import and export operations focused on footwear and fashion.
The Foundation Years in India
The journey began in Bangalore, India, in 1996 with a humble roadside footwear business under the name Sareena Footwear. What started as a small footpath operation soon grew into multiple retail and wholesale outlets across the city. Over the next fifteen years, the family built a strong presence in Bangalore’s footwear market, expanding under well-known local brands such as Super Footwear, Fashion Footwear, City Fashion, and Minnu’s Footworld. By 2011, the business had become a trusted name in affordable and quality footwear, laying the foundation for a larger vision that would soon cross borders.
